13 WEEKS OUT! weight is holding at 118..that is with reduced cardio and a weekly cheat meal added. feeling a bit under the weather these last 2 days...just enough to feel like i have zero energy but not enough to really take anything for it. very excited about orlando...joel and i are hitting universal studios the sunday after the show...so i changed my flight to go out late sunday. never done any of the attractions in orlando so i am really excited. always have an adventure when i hang with bigJ!

arnold is 5 weeks away...looking forward to seeing everyone and getting away for a few days.

I have decided to do the Europa in orlando in april! i am just too excited to wait til may and this is the perfect show for me..ez flight and CHEAP....LOL! PJ and i feel i am ready to hit it...so here we go!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! this is my new years resolution to keep this thing updated. So here I go starting the new year on the right foot.

I am currently morphing my former BBer physique to that of a physique competitor. I am really happy with how I am looking and feeling. I have enlisted the help of PJ Braun, friend and fellow species athlete. In 14 weeks I have managed to drop 20 lbs of fat and muscle to where I am seeing myself in the shape of 2008-09. Being bigger as a pro just wasnt making me happy. Being more petite and streamlined has made me more comfortable and happy in my own skin. You will see my debut at the NY PRO and TORONTO SUPERSHOW this spring. I am very excited for what 2012 will bring!

Gearing up for the Arnold in 8 weeks where i will be working the species booth once again w my fellow favorite peeps..Nicole, Melissa, Jilli, PJ, Ann Mo Kat and of course one of my favorite people JOEL,.....love my species family !

Well there you have it....IM BACK! heres to a kick azz 2012!

I have been so bad at keeping this updated.

first off, the arnold was a couple weeks ago and I worked for Species for the weekend. I am not a species athlete and thrilled to be a rep for THE best company in the biz.

i start prep in a few weeks for the hartford pro. i am excited to see my improvements and see what they think of a smaller physique at the pros. as always, george will be my right hand man in my prep just as he has been for years.

back to life

elena seiple said this to me a couple years ago and she was right on the mark. whether you win your pro card or not, your back to your life as it was before your show. back to work, home, life. nothing really changes other than im a PRO instead of just a bodybuilder. its a GREAT feeling mind you, dont get me wrong, i am so glad i FINALLY MADE IT! but i train the same, will prep the same, just be a different playing field.

i am blessed to have some great people that will make this new journey less scary! i am thrilled that now i dont have to worry about making weight and i can relax and improve the way i need to.

fall is here in upstate NY and its gorgeous. i love sept. i could take this allt he time. leaves are changing, nights are frosty and apple season is in full swing. and i can eat them this year since imnot prepping for nationals! yey!

I AM A IFBB PRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do you have any idea how wonderful it is to say that and have it be true!? i am so blessed to have such a great support system and i have thought so much about that these last few days.

thanks to my parents, wes, GEORGE, MICHELE, alicia, chris, patti....my rx muscle family....i love all of oyu.

look for me to grace the pro stage next summer!

Things are shaping up very nicely at the 8 week mark. I have lost 10 lbs in 8 weeks, have 8 weeks to go and 5 lbs to lose. George is slowing me down some...I get a cheat meal tonight....wa hoo! burger here i come!

My gym is closed for a week, and its a stress I dont need right now...I have to drive an extra 10 miles 1 way to the next town over to train til they get the move finished. Living in the boonies, we dont have a gym on every block like a city does. we have 1....and this week none!

leaves are peaked and its been a gorgeous month here... i love fall.

the o was this weekend and i must give a shout to my friend jen for winning the fitness o, and george for taking 5th in the 202 class. its the best hes ever looked...so proud of him.

4 weeks in and 12 to go. things are shaping up pretty nicely. i have about 10 lbs to go...have to to make weight. suits are ordered, routine and music are done, travel plans made, now i just gotta get to my all time best!

leaves are changing here already. hard to believe its time agian. sept is my favorite month, so i hope its beautiful. after the wet summer, we deserve it!

Well its that time agian....16 weeks til Atlanta. I am excited to be starting prep. I want to see the improvements I have made unwrapped! I am pretty lean right now, about 14 lbs to lose I guess. I hope it melts off as easy as last year.

20th high school reunion

how time flies! I had my 20th reunion this weekend..it was great seeing everyone. I must admit a few people looked so different I didnt recongize them ( good and bad). I reconnected with several close friends ..ann, kerry, jess and kim..and it was so nice to see how far people have come, how theyve changed and to talk about old times. I was a really party girl in school, and my life couldnt be farther from that now!

19 weeks til i hit nationals. 3 weeks til prep starts, i an stoked for it. no messing around ..i am bringing my A game..this ones mine.

20 weeks to go!

Just at about the 20 week mark for nationals. I'm feeling ready, ready in the regard that I feel I have brought up my weaknesses. I am sitting at about 130, so 15 lbs to go, not bad.

I have had a crazy few weeks, judged in Syracuse and Rochester ...prepped mt GF gina for her 1st show...the rochester show. she had a blast and took 4th in the LH class. Went to Chicago to visit my BFF Michele, and hit Jr nationals night show. Good to see everyone...helps to get in the mind set for prep myself.

Im also heading to masters in a few weeks to support friends and help my girlfriend Margo with her booth .

AND.....my 20th high school reunion is next week. I am plannng on going, but have been feeling like chickening out.....i hated that time in my life.

thank god spring is finally here in the adirondack mountains. i swear we dont have spring here, its winter, and a lonnngggg one, and boom, its summer.

training is going well. im 12 days into my 10 week mass program. lifts are off the hook, i had a PR with dumbell curls yesterday. 50 lbs x 4. i love watching people watch me when i do stuff like that. for a little shit, im strong. weight is up a bit, but it comes with the terrotpry when your trying to add new meat. im hitting back and quads twice a week, better work dammit!

I am helping one of my best friends, gina, prep for her 1st show. she is 8 weeks out today from the NPC rochester show hosted by jim rockell. she i s looking good and working so hard, i m so proud of her.

got out on wes'new harley this week ...he got a 08 ultra classic. i t rides sooo much nicer than the fatboy. i bet he'll sell it now. anyone interested???? lol:)

Another month has come and gone, and spring is NOWHERE in sight. We got snow agian yesterday, and I bet it will be here til the end of April at this rate..bla

Training is going well. I m getting in some great workouts and by the end of the week, I need to the weekend to heal up and rest. Waiting on George for my new program. I love a new challange, and he always delivers one!

I am ashamed of myself for not being more dedicated to this blog.

Since I have lasted posted the Arnold CLassic has come and gone. I had to get a stupid cold just in time for it, so I didnt have as much fun as I was hoping. I got to see my girls, Michele Margo, michelle and tracy and that was worth the trip in it self. It truly stinks when your best gal pals live all over the country. I saw John Stutz, and the FIT GIRLS book, and I cannot wait to get my copy. It came out awesome. I cant imagine it NOT being a big seller. Also saw George, so I need to start a game plan with him and bring up my weak areas for nationals this year.

I am also starting to do training at my gym, lake placid health and fitness. I m excited, I really think i can do well, considering people have been bugging me to do it for years. I also got a sports nutrition certification. I really want to be able to do the whole picture for people, and with my back ground with contest prep, i hope it takes off. I have 3 people now that I am prepping for shows, so little by little, I m getting there!

Spring has not sprung here in northern NY, far from it. We still have tons of snow and though the temps are mild, its not melting fast enough for me.

Havent posted in a while, for the simple reason that there is nothing new to report. This is an eventful time of the year to say the least.
I have felt great since my surgery, and healed with no problems. I am happy with the results and wish I would have done it years ago.
I am very excited, only about 5 weeks to the Arnold! I am seeing my best girl friends....and its been toooo long since we have been together. Not working, which I m happy about,s o we can have fun, hang out and have some over due girl time.
Training is going good. Been really fucusing on my back ..my weak link. I see George at the AC, so I hope to talk with him about my plan for 08.

I know it sounds so cliche, but where did the time go? I am glad the holidays are over now...get back to normal and stop spending money and eating too much!

We have been hit with record snowfall for Dec, and I must admit I am loving it with the mild temps. I have been snow shoeing a ton, and its really paying off for my legs! and my doggies are loving it too.

I am pretty much back 100% since my sugery 3 weeks ago. I still have a few bruises, but all in all, it was nothing. Training isnt 100% yet, I will start training chest this week, lightly and work my way back. I am very happy with the results, and so glad I did it!

getting nailed with snow today....2 feet expected. and from the looks of things, were getting that much. i had my work xmas lunch, but we bagged it til after xmas. hubbys party is tonight. so i get to be lazy in my pjs for most of the day. i will go out for a snow shoe later and enjoy the new powder.

back to work monday. im glad, i m stir crazy. and money runs out fast!

the arnold is coming soon and i hope i am choosen to work the MD booth. I will surely let you know! I love the whole gang there, so i would be super honored to represent them!

today was my post op appt and all is well. i took no pain meds today and even did some cardio and walked the dogs. im still a bit sore, of course, but nothing unbearable. i did go bra shopping after my appt and was pleased with my new size!

today is my surgery. leaving soon, so i have to shower and get things ready. im not nervous...yet..

He is by far the best photographer in the industry , and a nice guy to boot.

After 2 days of walking the malls, I am done my shopping for xmas. I am luck enough to have a short list, but it still takes time just the same. i also got a few treats for me along the way...a new coach bag and some workout clothes..my old tops wont fit me anymore after tuesday. I am so excited..I feel like a kid waiting for santa!

ugh..food hang over today. hubby and i went out to celebrate our 8th anniversary at a great italian place. it was awesome..but much heavier than what im used to....the garlic kept me up alllll night! oh well....gotta live a little!
it has become winter here in lake placid. We are to get out 1st major storm of over a foot sunday. Snow shoes here i come...i love it...it my favorite winter activity..and great for the bootay!
training is going well...im going a bit easier til after i get my sugery (boobs dec11) so i hope by jan 1 i can get back to some heavy weights and concentrate on bringing up this lagging back of mine. I have a long off season..so im not worried. i did alot in my short off season this year.
